As Point Cook continues to grow, we hope to create a local place where families and neighbours can come together to pray, learn, meet and support one another. Our Islamic Centre will be a warm and welcoming space for connection, kindness, learning and community life. We hope to create a place that reflects the diversity of Point Cook and contributes to a strong, caring and connected community for everyone.
Alhumdulillah! We have so far raised $730k of the total project cost of $2.5M.

About the Project
Point Cook Islamic Community Ltd (PCIC) is an ACNC registered charitable, not-for-profit organisation serving the growing and diverse Muslim community of Point Cook.
We are committed to building an Islamic community centre in Point Cook that will provide a place of worship, education, youth support, community welfare, and inclusive programs that benefit people of all backgrounds.
Driven by values of compassion, connection, and social cohesion, PCIC aims to strengthen community wellbeing, support those in need, and foster a more inclusive and united society.
At its heart, the centre will be a Masjid, a place of worship and spiritual connection for Muslims. But we believe its role can extend well beyond worship. We want to create a place where children can learn and grow, young people can build positive connections, families can meet and support one another, and community members can participate in initiatives that promote wellbeing and belonging.
We also hope the centre will provide opportunities for the wider community to engage with the local Muslim community through open days, educational initiatives, community activities and opportunities for people of different backgrounds to connect and better understand one another. Point Cook is home to people from many cultures, faiths and backgrounds, and we want our centre to reflect and contribute positively to this diversity.
This project is therefore about more than constructing a building. It is about creating a long-term community asset that can support local families today and future generations tomorrow, a place characterised by faith, compassion, learning, service and connection.
Alhamdulillah, we have now raised approximately $710,000 towards the total estimated project cost of $2.5 million. This is a significant milestone and a testament to the generosity and commitment of our community.
There is still a substantial journey ahead, and we need the support of our community, local businesses, organisations and those who believe in investing in strong, connected and inclusive communities.
Together, we can build Point Cook’s first Masjid and a community centre that serves as a place of worship, learning, connection and service, creating a positive legacy for generations to come.
